From Peyton to Eli
Jake started his new job with the Giants on Tuesday! It's a very happy day, except for the fact that I'M STILL IN INDIANA! :(
Jake moved out on Saturday and is staying with his sister and her family! I dont know what we would do without them! Our house is officially up for sale and we did find an apartment that we absolutely LOVE! Now, if we can just sell our house, then I can move too! Luckily Jake gets two days off for July 4th, so he'll be home next Thurs. It's not fun being away from your husband for 12 days!!! The house is pretty boring with just me and Oreo! But, I have rented some good chick flicks!

Count your blessings!
Jake and I had a very humbling experience today. Indiana has had ALOT of rain the past couple of weeks and parts of the state have had major flooding. This weekend volunteers from our church were organized and sent out to different parts of the state to help communities in desperate need. Jake and I had the chance to be a part of the efforts today. The neighborhood we were in was hit hard and the streets were lined with trash piles. It was heart breaking seeing their lives in piles on the side of the road. We were ripping down walls and emptying people's houses. Some houses had water up to 6 feet inside and everything was ruined! Jake and I felt so blessed to have been safe from the floods and to also have the opportunity to serve. It taught me to not take for granted the things I have and to count my many blessings!

Big things happenin!
It's been a crazy two weeks at the Reynolds house! Jake has been offered and accepted a position with the New York Giants! The crazy part is that he starts June 24th! So, we are working on getting our house up for sale, packing, finding a new place, and everything else in between! This is an unbelievable job opportunity for Jake! The hard part will be leaving the fam! It's been an awesome year being back home. We have had so much fun with my family and our friends here and are not wanting to say good-bye! But, we are so grateful and excited for this new adventure!
