Last month my parents came out for a quick weekend visit! It was so much fun hanging with them!! It's always fun to have your parents all to yourself again when you are "all grown up"! :)
We went into the city and took the ferry to the Statue of Liberty! It was a very ugly, rainy day, but was a great time still!!
Back in September-ish, Jake and I went on a date to one of our favorite places in the city, Battery Park. It's right along the water and has beautiful views. We also took my parents there in Oct when they came!

I am more jealous than ever of you guys living so close to NYC. Living in Rexburg doesn't help my desires to live in a big city. Ha :) Although I'm extremely excited for my change in job plans, I'm bummed I won't get to come visit :/ Have fun in the Bahamas!
Hey Emily! The lunch meat thing, that I didn't learn until my husband's Dr. friend scolded me, is that there is a bacteria called listeria (sp?) in cold lunch meat that is harmful to the baby. It's a bacteria that we can fight off, but a baby in the womb can't. I had no clue, and was eating like crazy in my first tri! Whooops!!
